Dr. Sherine Gabriel is the Executive Vice President of ASU Health.
Dr. Gabriel previously served as dean of Mayo Medical School, where she was on faculty for 26 years, and of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she was also CEO of the medical group. Most recently she was president at Rush University.
Dr. Gabriel has received several honors for her educational contributions including the Mayo Clinic Distinguished Educator Award, the Association for Clinical Research Training Distinguished Educator Award, and the McCann Scholar Award for Excellence in Mentoring in Medicine and Science, a highly prestigious award that included a $150,000 cash prize.
Dr. Gabriel’s research program was largely NIH funded and has resulted in more than 250 peer-reviewed, original scientific publications addressing the risks, costs, determinants and outcomes of rheumatic diseases [H index 95]. Dr. Gabriel has received numerous research awards in recognition of these contributions and has served on dozens of governmental committees and advisory boards, especially with the NIH and the FDA. She is an elected member of the Association of American Physicians (the society of U.S. leading physician-scientists) and a member of the prestigious National Academy of Medicine.

Honoring Jim Fish
President and CEO
Waste Management
James (Jim) Fish, Jr. is President and Chief Executive Officer for Waste Management. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.
Jim joined WM in 2001 and was named CEO in November 2016. Prior to becoming CEO, Jim was the Company's CFO from 2012-2016 and was named President in July 2016. Over the last 20 years, he has held several key positions with the Company, including Senior Vice President for the Company’s Eastern Group, Area Vice President for Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Market Area General Manager for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Vice President of Price Management and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Before joining WM Jim held finance and revenue management positions at Westex, a Yellow-Roadway subsidiary; Trans World Airlines; and America West Airlines. He began his professional career at KPMG Peat Marwick. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Arizona State University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago. He is also a certified public accountant.
Jim sits on the Board of Directors for Caterpillar Inc. and Greater Houston Partnership.
