Benefits of AACSB accreditation
AACSB has become the internationally recognized gold standard of business school accreditations and is the most prestigious and longstanding accreditation available for schools of business.
W. P. Carey is part of an established tradition of excellence as one of the elite AACSB-accredited business schools. In 2020, we received the AACSB's Innovations that Inspire award. A degree from W. P. Carey backed by AACSB accreditation gives you a distinct competitive advantage in your career.
To obtain AACSB accreditation, a business school and its programs are evaluated against nine accreditation standards. These standards cover strategic planning, curriculum development, teaching effectiveness, high-quality scholarship, and societal impact. Accreditation typically takes four to five years to obtain, with reviews every five years thereafter to ensure that the program's level of quality is maintained.
